Who am I

I drop the self righteous stone

Rebuked by the writing on the sand

To descend from the throne on high

Have I no sin to cast the first stone?

Who am I to pass the judgment on her?

Mirror mirror on the wall

Who is the just one that can point a finger?

A refection of guilt that tears me apart

Have I no sin to cast the first stone?

Who am I to pass the judgment on her?

I draw back into the shadows I retreat

Through his eyes shall I look at the woman

Hear his voice, depart from him and sin no more

Have I no sin to cast the first stone?

Who am I to pass the judgment on her?

Love

I strive to capture the true essence of life

And to be fulfilled through becoming a channel

Trusted to deliver to those in need of the answer

Driven to give more than is anticipated

Living to make the world a better place

So I give and I give and I give from the heart I give

There is no greater love expressed than this

With no medals, no recognition, but instead harm

A friend lays down his life for his friends

I have a smile across my face coz of memories

Emotions that come with doing well for others

For opportunities that enrich through expression of our love

Mmh… so when we love then we inevitable give

Out of conviction we are driven to a borderless life of love

So we give and we give and we give from the heart we give

What better demo that what we see in John 3:16

I strive, I resolve, everyday to be like him, to walk in love

To love because he first loved us

Soldier Boy

These are the words of wisdom from the captain
To a worrying boy in love with a beauty
His heart so open to be united to her forever

What then shall be of you my boy?
You who knows not to hide when you love
What remedy for the bug that got you on this path

They got games they label love that you must play
No one comes out in the open with a love declaration
Your emotions must be discreet like the African fathers

Assuring her of the tomorrow you’ve never seen
Accruing a zillion gadgets for the important course
In need of captain’s experience to hunt for her heart

A new identity is prerequisite my boy
A boy soldier in a crude world you become
The image of the steady and strong warrior assumed

You with an open heart must take cover
To the caves you must run and hide your heart
A mortal warrior waging war for love without your heart

Just…

A world away from my world
So rich to him who courted you
So powerful a tool to the cultured
Usher me to worlds unknown
You just never know

I know a beauty who adores you
Your rich clothes & style amaze
Your language is food to her soul
Teach me your ways I say
You just never know

To the unknown worlds I journey
I step into the darkness to discover
My heart beats with bewilderment
Just perhaps I shall be like the cultured
You just never know.

Heroes

My nursery school teacher was right,

Heroes are just like you and me

Anyone can become great

Forget the talents focus on the discipline

It is how you finish the race that counts

Ask the heroes of old what the secret is

There is no magic portion to ascending

Watch and learn from the legendary tales

The formula open for all who seek wisdom

An open book exam for all destiny makers

Disguised in overalls labeled work, sometimes in

a speech from the gravity apple with no name

Or ordinary math to fly the Wright brothers

I have a dream… so ordinary yet so powerful

So my nursery school teacher was right

Heroes are just like you and me

Anyone can become great

The African Child

The girl child awaits her savior
she gazes into the plains in hope
mama urges her to dream big
She anticipates she waits
Africa's tomorrow awaits her miracle

An idea, a thought, a venture
One vision, one passion, one voice
From deep, in conviction, for a course
She anticipates she waits
Africa's tomorrow awaits her miracle

what will be of the lil children
the leaders we make, africa's today
our contribution for generations to come
She anticipates she waits
Africa's tomorrow awaits her miracle

Whipped Cream

No words to hide behind anymore

No one to speak matters of my heart

Cannot live in denial no more

Whipped cream I hear them called it

I do not know where it got its identity

But I sure feel whipped by a beauty.

Shall I look away and pretend am ok

Will I get more covers to hide behind?

I have no formula for things of the heart

So I lay bear like my buddy creamy

We are whipped with no apologies

This I write so my soul may be at peace

A declaration of love I cannot hide

It’s to you my beloved I address this

Just as I am with no script and director

This many words I summed to three

I love you
